How do I reset my sobriety date?

Go to Settings in the app, tap on "Sobriety Date," and select your new date. Remember, every day is a new beginning - what matters is that you're here and trying.

Is my data private?

Yes, absolutely. Your journal entries, progress, and personal information are encrypted and stored securely. We never sell your data or share it with advertisers. Read our Privacy Policy for full details.

How do I enable or disable notifications?

Go to Settings in the app and tap on "Notifications." You can toggle morning and evening reminders on or off according to your preference.

Can I use Finding Me offline?

Yes! Your daily reflections and journal entries are cached for offline use. Any changes you make will sync when you're back online.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings, scroll to "Account," and tap "Delete Account." This will permanently remove all your data from our servers. You can also email us at support@findingme.us to request account deletion.

What are reading streaks?

Reading streaks track how many consecutive days you've read your daily reflection. It's a way to build and maintain positive habits. If you miss a day, your streak resets, but your total reflections read are always preserved.

How do badges work?

Badges are earned through engagement with the app - reading reflections, maintaining streaks, and consistent daily practice. They celebrate your commitment to the journey, not specific milestones.

Is Finding Me free?

Finding Me offers a free trial so you can experience the app. After the trial, a subscription unlocks full access to all features including daily reflections, unlimited journaling, and milestone tracking.

Technical Issues

The app isn't loading properly

Try closing the app completely and reopening it. If the issue persists, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Your data is stored securely in the cloud and will be restored when you sign back in.

I'm not receiving notifications

Make sure notifications are enabled both in the app (Settings > Notifications) and in your device's system settings for Finding Me. Also check that your device isn't in Do Not Disturb mode.

How do I report a bug?

Email us at support@findingme.us with a description of the issue, your device type, and iOS version. Screenshots are helpful too!
